Ole Miss picked fourth in SEC West, QB Matt Corral selected to Preseason First Team
HOOVER, Ala. — Ole Miss has been predicted to finish fourth in the SEC West, according to members of the media who voted during SEC Media Days this week. Alabama has been selected to win the 2021 SEC Championship.
The Tide received 84 votes to be the overall league champion, while Georgia came in second with 45 votes.
Five Ole Miss Rebels have been selected by the media as members of the Preseason All-SEC teams.
Quarterback Matt Corral was named to the first team on offense, while Jerrion Ealy joins him as first team all-purpose and kick returner. Offensive linemen Nick Broeker and Ben Brown were selected to the third team offense, while punter Mac Brown was named to the specialists’ third team.
As a team, Ole Miss was picked to finish fourth in the SEC West with the vote tally as follows:
