OXFORD, Miss. — No. 1 seed Ole Miss defeated No. 3 seed Florida State, 4-3, in NCAA postseason action in the Oxford Regional Saturday night.
What a game it was! Pitcher Doug Nikhazy notched a career-high 16 strikeouts, tying a single-game school record and moving to fourth all-time on the Rebels’ single-season strikeout list.
Left fielder Kevin Graham recorded two of the Rebels’ four hits and extended his reached-base streak to 55 games.
After the win, head coach Mike Bianco, Graham and Nikhazy spoke with media.
