WATCH: Kermit Davis, Devontae Shuler, Romello White talk Rebels’ 86-84 OT win over Auburn
In the waning seconds of overtime against Auburn, Ole Miss gave the ball to senior leader Devontae Shuler. He did not disappoint, hitting a shot at the buzzer that would propel the Rebels to an 86-84 overtime victory over Bruce Pearl and the Tigers.
Romello White led the Rebels with 30 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocked shots. Devontae Shuler finished with 26 points and 6 rebounds, while Robert Allen added 12 points.
Here’s what head coach Kermit Davis, Shuler and White had to say in the postgame press conference about the huge win, the Rebels’ second on the week, that saw Ole Miss forced to overcome a 14-point deficit.
