Men’s Hoops Now Set to Face LSU Saturday
Feb. 17 Contest Moved Up After Two Games Postponed
OXFORD, Miss. – The Ole Miss men’s basketball team was set to face South Carolina in The Pavilion Saturday; however, COVID-19 had different plans.
Due to issues within the Gamecocks’ program, the game with Ole Miss has been postponed.
Likewise, LSU was set to face Missouri this Saturday — but Mizzou had to reschedule because of COVID-19 in its program.
Instead, Ole Miss and LSU will now play this Saturday (Jan. 9) in The Pavilion. Tipoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. on SEC Network. The matchup was originally scheduled to take place February 17.
A make-up date for the Rebels’ game against South Carolina has not yet been determined. The SEC’s COVID-19 management requirements, as developed by the SEC’s Return to Activity and Medical Guidance Task Force, are available on SECsports.com (full report (PDF).
