OXFORD, Miss. — Linebacker Lakia Henry, defensive back Deane Leonard and wide receiver Braylon Sanders met with media Tuesday, via Zoom, to discuss the Rebels’ Egg Bowl win, the final games of the season, and their future plans.
The three were integral parts of Ole Miss’ 31-24 Egg Bowl win. Sanders hauled in two catches for 87 yards and a score. Leonard recovered a fumble during the first quarter and returned it 84 yards, the fourth-longest fumble return in school history and the longest since the school record 96-yard return by Zedrick Woods at Texas A&M in 2018. Henry led the Ole Miss defense with 10 total tackles, his second straight game with double-digit tackles.
