Ole Miss Releases First Game-Week Depth Chart of 2019

OXFORD, Miss. — On Monday morning, Ole Miss released the first game-week depth chart of the season as the Rebels prepare to travel to Memphis to face the Tigers on Saturday at the Liberty Bowl. Kickoff is set for 11:00 a.m. (CT) and the contest will be televised on ABC.

A few changes of note on offense from the preseason fall depth chart include:

  • starting left tackle Michael Howard (had been Bryce Mathews, but Mathews will start at right tackle if Alex Givens is unable to play);
  • starting right tackle Alex Givens or Bryce Mathews (Givens has been out of fall camp due to back surgery);
  • Freshman wide receiver Jonathan Mingo listed as co- starter at one of the wide receiver spots;
  • freshman Nick Broeker is listed as backup at left tackle;
  • running backs Jerrion Ealy, Snoop Conner, and Isaiah Woullard are all listed as co-backups behind Scottie Phillips

A few changes of note on defense from the preseason fall depth chart include:

  • K.D. Hill takes over as backup at nose tackle;
  • Donta Evans has a very strong fall camp to earn co-starter status with MoMo Sanogo at inside linebacker;
  • Lakia Henry named starter at the other inside linebacker spot
