Rebels move to tie for No. 3 in AP poll, 5 in Coaches
After defeating Alabama in Tuscaloosa 43-37 Saturday night, Ole Miss made huge jumps in the nation’s polls moving to No. 5 in the Amway Coaches Poll and to a tie for 3rd in the Associated Press poll.
Last week, Ole Miss was ranked No. 15 in the Associated Press Top 25. The Rebels jumped 12 spots this week to a tie for third with TCU. Alabama dropped to No. 12.
In the Coaches Poll, the Rebels jumped six spots, the highest gain of any team in the rankings. Alabama dropped to No. 12.
Ohio State remains No. 1 in both bolls.
