Ole Miss gets commit from 2016 RB Jarrion Street
Over the weekend, recruits from all over the country committed to the schools at which they plan to play football. It was the Rebels’ turn on Saturday as three-star running back Jarrion Street (Hewitt-Trussville, Ala.) committed to Ole Miss.
According to 247Sports, the 6-foot-2, 195 pound Street committed while in Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze’s office on Saturday following a camp at the school.
Street posted the following on his twitter account Saturday afternoon:
More than blessed to announce that I have committed to Ole Miss #HOTTYTODDY pic.twitter.com/wDs6DIO8X4

Street is ranked No. 31 in the state of Alabama and No. 54 among running backs in the 2016 class by 247Sports. Ole Miss beat out Cincinnati. Iowa State, Memphis, and Missouri, the other top schools that were on Street’s final list in June.
Street is known for his explosiveness in between tackles and in the open field. He has the ability to make defensive players at any position miss with his sharp stiff arm and spin move abilities.
The Rebels have snagged two great recruits in a three-day span. On Friday, offensive lineman Chandler Tuitt of Sandy Creek High School announced his pledge to Ole Miss.
The Rebels’ 2016 class is currently ranked No. 10 in the country by 247Sports and Rivals.com.
