National Signing Day update with schedule of announcements
Ole Miss, like every other school, has two more days to put the final touches on it’s 2015 signing class. (Click here to learn about the “dead” period which began today.) National Signing Day is Wednesday, Feb. 4th.
The news coming out of LSU late Friday night of 4-star inside linebacker Leo Lewis de-committing from Ole Miss leaves the Rebels scrambling to fill that spot with a new prospect.
Demetric Warren, a Varsity Preps player evaluator, broke the news of Lewis’ de-commitment on Twitter around 9:30 p.m. Friday night.

Two other Rebel commits took official visits over the weekend to different schools. Here’s how those visits went.
4-star OT Drew Richmond took an official visit to Tennessee, and as of right now, Richmond is still committed to Ole Miss. However, the Vols threw everything at the talented offensive tackle to try to flip him on his visit, and there has been some talk of Richmond de-committing. We’ll keep you updated as this recruitment is sure to be a wild finish.
Wide receiver commit, 4-star Van Jefferson made his way up to Ann Arbor, Michigan for a visit with the Wolverines. Michigan is late to the party with the recruitment of Jefferson, but the talented receiver called the state of Michigan home before moving to Brentwood, Tennessee. Jefferson’s father, Shawn Jefferson, was a wide receivers coach for the Detroit Lions. He’s now serving in the same role for the Tennessee Titans. Most around Van’s recruitment feel confident he signs with the Rebels on signing day.
