The SEC continued its domination of college football by placing eight teams in the Top 25:  Alabama (3); Auburn (5); Texas A&M (6); Ole Miss (10); Georgia (12); South Carolina (13); Mississippi State (14); LSU (17) are all included in this week’s poll, with six of these (Alabama, Auburn, A&M, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and LSU) in the SEC West.

Florida State remained the top team in the poll, with Alabama, Oregon, Auburn and Oklahoma rounding out the top five this week.

Notre Dame was ranked ninth last week, but with previously eighth ranked LSU losing to Mississippi State this weekend, the Fighting Irish moved up one spot, while the Tigers dropped to 17th.

Michigan State moved into the Top 10 at number nine, moving up two spots from last week. The one-loss Spartans jumped Ole Miss, who is undefeated on the season.
