Rebels move up to No. 15 in Coaches Poll

The USA Today Amway Coaches Poll for September 7, 2014 is out, and the Ole Miss Rebels have moved up two spots to No. 15 following their 41-3 whipping of Vanderbilt.
The biggest movers in the poll were previously unranked Virginia Tech, who vaulted up to No. 19 after beating Ohio State, and Ohio State, who dropped from No. 7 to No. 18 following the loss.

The top five stayed the same: Florida State, Alabama, Oklahoma, Oregon and Auburn.
The Southeastern Conference continues to figure prominently in the polls with five SEC teams in the Top 10 and eight in the Top 25. They are as follows:
2) Alabama
5) Auburn
6) Georgia
8) Texas A&M
9) LSU
15) Ole Miss
22) Missouri
23) South Carolina
Following a 41-7 loss to BYU, the Texas Longhorns dropped out of the poll. Others receiving votes, but not ranked in the poll, include: Louisville (128 points), BYU (124), Florida (107) and Mississippi State (84).
