Rebels begin spring practice February 27, culminate with Grove Bowl on April 7

OXFORD, Miss – For those having withdrawals from the lack of college football, mark your calendars for February 27 as  Ole Miss football spring practices begin on that date. Spring drills will culminate with the Grove Bowl on April 7th at 1:00 p.m.

This year, unlike in years past, there will be two spring practices open to the public: March 3 and March 24. For more information on the specific times and locations, please visit OMYearofTheFan.com/practices.

Chucky Mullins Courage Award Breakfast

Grove Bowl weekend also includes another important event in the life of Ole Miss Rebels–the Chucky Mullins Courage Award Breakfast. Here, the player will be introduced who will wear the No. 38 this coming season in honor of Chucky Mullins. Marquis Haynes was last year’s winner.

The breakfast will be held at 8:00 al.m. at The Grill at 1810 at the Manning Center. Tickets are available at the Ole Miss Athletics Ticket Office.

VIP tour of Ole Miss football facilities

In addition to the Chucky Mullins breakfast and the Grove Bowl, fans will also be able to take a VIP tour of the Ole Miss football facilities–including the locker room, gameday tunnel, team meeting room, and more. For more information and to RSVP, please visit OMYearOfTheFan.com/tours.

Tennis action at Ole Miss

The Men’s and Women’s tennis teams will both be in action on Grove Bowl weekend. The women’s team will host Georgia on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. and Tennessee at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The men will play Mississippi State Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Admission to the matches at the Palmer/Salloum Center is free to the public.
