Clemons says he is a Rebel!
Rasool Clemens, a three-star DE from Aiken, South Carolina, was one of many top recruits in Oxford over the weekend. Clemons, a one-time University of Virginia commit, parted ways with the Cavaliers on January 9th, and just a few days later received an offer from the Rebels.
The 6-foot-6, 212 pound defensive end is the 17th commit in the 2015 Rebel class so far, with a class ranking of N0. 17 in the nation. Clemons’ offer list included Clemson, Florida State, LSU and more.
In an interview with 247Sports.com recruiting analyst Ryan Bartow, Clemons spoke fondly of Ole Miss: “It feels like home and family.”
Clemons is a big get for the Rebels, as he is the only defensive end in the class so far. He’s strong and very athletic. He has a great motor with tremendous upside. He is a fantastic addition to an already impressive class.
