Peach Bowl Notes 12/27: Rebels hold first practice

The Ole Miss Rebels are ready to take on TCU in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on New Year’s Eve in Atlanta. The team arrived Friday and held its first practice Saturday at Georgia State. Here’s a little video footage of the practice, as well as interview clips with Robert Nkemdiche, Ben Still and Serderius Bryant.

Bryant talks briefly about the departure of linebackers/special teams coach Tom Allen, who has accepted the position of defensive coordinator at South Florida. The senior linebacker said, “I’m very proud of Coach Allen.” He also noted that Allen came in and told the team they were the reason he now has the opportunity to move up to a defensive coordinator position–a comment that obviously meant a lot to Bryant and his teammates.
